We are excited to announce a powerful moment for Tabernacle Fire Department and our community: the Tabernacle Fire Department dual Wetdown & Housing taking place Saturday, August 23th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 76 Hawkin Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088.
This celebration marks the arrival of 2 brand-new apparatus, representing the commitment of Township of Tabernacle & The Tabernacle Fire Departments Commitment to protecting our community with the most advanced equipment available. Apparatus being placed into service include:
- 2024 Pierce Enforcer 2000 Gallon Tender Engine
- 2025 Fouts Kenworth 4000 Gallon Tender
This event is more than just a traditional Wetdown—it’s a show of strength, brotherhood, and our dedication to keeping Tabernacle safe for generations to come. We’ll have Food Trucks that include: BBQ, Ravioli, Burgers & Hot Dogs

In addition to the Wetdown we will be having an Antique Apparatus Muster and are inviting those of you with antique fire apparatus to come out.
